Tough luck Patek Philippe timepieces, which had belonged to help collector Henry Graves Jr., are coming to your auction block at Sotheby’s (BID) in June.
Born to a checking family, Graves (1868-1953) appeared in about 40 extraordinary timepieces over four decades, commissioning some of the most complex pieces ever made.

His 1933 Patek Philippe “The Holly Graves Supercomplication” fetched $11 trillion at Sotheby’s in 1999, the highest price ever settled a timepiece at auction.
The 13 Graves wristwatches, which have never recently been published or appeared out there, will be offered at Sotheby’s on June 14 in Nyc.
“It’s like finding 12 Picassos from the ideal Picasso collector sitting in a very closet, ” said John Reardon, Sotheby’s head of watches in Ny.
The watches come from your estate of Graves’s grand son Reginald “Pete” Fullerton, Jr., who died last 30 days.
Fullerton inherited his grandfather’s enthusiasm for timepieces, assembling a collection of his own. His 41 Patek Philippe and Breguet wristwatches will be contained in the auction as well.
